Assistant Vice President- Compliance Technology & Analytics | Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

• Mission: Deliver technical support to Core-Compliance functions by understanding business requirements, translating them into technical deliverables, and providing post-production support for solutions.
• Tech Stack: Alteryx, Tableau, M365 apps
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead technology rollouts: Lead, organize, and facilitate meetings, teleconferences, and workshops to support regional and global technology rollouts within the compliance function.
• Implement strategic solutions: Help regional and global teams roll out strategic solutions across the region by communicating with senior stakeholders and completing necessary formalities.
• Resolve post-implementation issues: Proactively identify post-implementation BAU issues and work with vendors to resolve them.
• Perform technical analysis: Support functional teams in performing technical analysis to identify meaningful insights and patterns, discussing observations with teams and vendors, and escalating when necessary.
• Coordinate project communication: Coordinate communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve conflicting priorities, build consensus, and support users in drafting and executing UAT test cases.
• Oversee project execution: Oversee end-to-end project coordination, including status reporting, execution of work efforts, assembling project plans, and monitoring team tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Degree in a relevant discipline with demonstrated ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of deliverables, coupled with strong expertise in banking compliance.
• Experience: 10-15 years of experience, with substantial relevant background within the financial sector.
• Skills: Strong collaboration skills, exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, ability to develop models and ad hoc reports, proactive in identifying and highlighting issues and blockers, and experience in configuring reports and dashboards for management information reporting.
• Bonus: Knowledge of communication surveillance and technical proficiency in cognitive tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or M365 apps.
