Assistant General Manager | Pura Vida Miami
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Pura Vida Miami, located at one of our locations in Florida. • Team: Leads a team of individuals, collaborates with the General Manager.
• Mission: Lead a team to serve and educate guests on wholesome products, ensuring a positive experience and supporting health journeys.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating positivity and maintaining clear communication with the entire team.
• Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, actively addressing customer needs and resolving any issues or complaints.
• Operational Support: Collaborate with the General Manager to manage inventory, labor allocation, and operational procedures.
• Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards for customers and staff.
• Team Management: Support supervisory functions, including making employment decisions, conducting performance appraisals, and coaching associates.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. High School Diploma or GED required, with 2 years of college preferred. Domain knowledge in customer service within the hospitality and/or restaurant industry.
• Experience: 2+ years of proven managerial experience in the hospitality and/or restaurant industry, with a minimum of 1 year in customer service.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and a local/municipal Food Handler certification.
• Bonus: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
