The Tone:

A Hiring Company is seeking an Assembler Level I to be a key contributor in the production environment. This entry-level position is essential for the precise assembly, inspection, and testing of components and products. Your meticulous attention to detail and manual dexterity will be crucial in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and contribute to efficient operations.

• Mission: Assemble, inspect, and test components or products following detailed work instructions and quality standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Determine assembly needs: You will accurately read and interpret job travelers to understand specific assembly requirements for various components or products, ensuring all necessary steps are completed and documented correctly.
• Ensure quality control: You will be responsible for meticulously differentiating between acceptable and rejectable retainers, carefully inspecting them against quality standards and categorizing them appropriately to prevent defects.
• Execute assembly processes: You will precisely assemble assigned parts by following detailed work instructions and established processes, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency throughout each assembly task.
• Manage inventory and labeling: This includes accurately counting all retainers used and final assemblies, making necessary adjustments to retainer inventory for any errors, and correctly labeling all finished products with lot numbers, part numbers, and quantities before combining and storing them for inventory.
• Maintain workspace organization: You will consistently apply basic 5S principles to keep your work environment clean, organized, and efficient, contributing to a safe and productive production area.

• Background: Entry-level role; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Not specified, but requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail; ability to work with small parts or delicate components; basic mechanical skills; capability to identify and correct inconsistencies in part numbers and lot numbers; physical ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
• Bonus: Prior assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus.
