Job Description
Area Technician
Position Summary
The Area Technician is responsible for the daily cleaning and disinfecting of rooms and public areas, furnishings, and assigned work areas. This role also involves the removal and disposal of soiled waste and linen, performing floor care and carpet care, and general detail cleaning to ensure that the facility is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The Area Technician must follow established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital.
Minimum Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma preferred – or higher.

- Employment Type: Full-time with benefits
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
