Job Description:
Jacobs is seeking an Architecture Intern to join their team in St. Louis. This role offers an opportunity to transform intangible ideas into innovative solutions and design the future. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in helping solve real-life challenges, providing support to project teams on critical assignments, and contributing fresh ideas in a culture of continuous learning and inclusion.

You will be actively immersed in the process of creating multiple building designs and drawings. This will involve using both freehand sketches and advanced design software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Working alongside senior designers, you will gain hands-on experience in scaling, modeling, and constructing world-class projects for clients globally.

This internship is designed to be a formative experience for the future leaders of the company, offering valuable practical experience in the architectural field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to project teams on critical design and architectural projects.
• Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to design challenges.
• Be immersed in the process of creating multiple building designs and drawings.
• Utilize freehand sketching for initial design concepts.
• Operate design software including AutoCAD and Revit for detailed drawings and models.
• Assist senior designers in scaling, modeling, and constructing architectural work.

Qualifications:

Required (Must Have):

• Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• United States Citizenship.

Preferred (Ideally, You’ll Also Have):

• A 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Must be at least a rising Junior in your academic program.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup.
