Job Description:
Olson Kundig is offering paid, six-month internships to architecture students and recent architecture school graduates from around the world.
Key aspects of the internship include:
• Experience: Providing experience and exposure to many facets of architectural practice.
• Responsibilities: Assisting project teams with schematic design, AutoCAD, Revit, model making, construction documents, and presentation projects.
• Mentorship: Interns will have opportunities to attend construction site visits, in-office speaker series, and weekly design critiques.
• Learning: Weekly lunchtime lecture series covering a wide range of architectural subjects.
• Presentation: Each intern will prepare and give a presentation of their work to the office during their internship.
Requirements:
• Application: Candidates must complete an online application with a cover letter, resume, and portfolio (limited to 9MB).
• Work Authorization: All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.
• International Applicants: Interns from countries outside the U.S. are responsible for obtaining the necessary paperwork enabling them to work in the U.S. (the firm will provide a letter of employment).
Compensation:
• The hiring range for this position in Seattle is $25.75/hour.
