Job Description: A&R Intern
The A&R Intern will provide crucial support to the A&R Manager. This role is heavily focused on administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Responsibilities include:
• System Organization and Maintenance: Maintaining the company’s system to ensure all contracts are up-to-date and accurately recorded.
• Deal Validation Support: Assisting in the validation of deals with the legal team by meticulously documenting all required information.
• Project Management Coordination: Distributing weekly assignments to Project Managers to facilitate client work.
• Schedule A Validation: Verifying the accuracy and completeness of Schedule A documents.
• Terms of Service Compliance: Ensuring all client signings adhere to the company’s Terms of Service regulations.
Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail is paramount for this role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets is required.
• The ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks concurrently is crucial.
• Prior experience at a record label or music publisher is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required.
Pay and Eligibility:
This internship is for college credit only. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university and remain enrolled for the duration of the internship. Graduates are not eligible. Providing necessary documentation for college credit verification is mandatory; failure to do so will result in disqualification.
