Job Description: Application Engineer

One of our prominent financial service clients is seeking an Application Engineer to join their Middle Office Asset Serving Technology group. This is an exciting opportunity that begins as a remote assignment, transitioning into a hybrid onsite model in Downtown Manhattan (240 Greenwich St).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical solutions to enhance and create new applications for asset servicing clients.
• Utilize existing or new applications to provide clients with secure and efficient access to critical data, including account information, trade details, and activity logs.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience with either Ruby or Java is required.
• The initial assignment will primarily involve Ruby development.
• Throughout the position, the successful candidate will be tasked with learning and utilizing both Java and Ruby.

Skills And Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience as a Developer (including experience gained from boot camps).
• Experience with any Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages such as Java, Ruby, JavaScript, or Python.
• A great personality and a strong willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with the Financial Services background.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
