• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction:
  • Familiar with the AP Environmental Science curriculum across its nine units and common student challenges, such as calculating ecological footprints, distinguishing point from nonpoint pollution sources, and analyzing free-response data sets.
  • Adapts instruction using field study examples, current environmental news, and AP-style practice to support students with varying science backgrounds seeking interdisciplinary understanding.
• Effective Teaching Methods:
  • Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with and explain material using multiple approaches.
  • Adept at adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Possess strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
