  • Familiarity with the AP Environmental Science curriculum across its nine units and common challenges students face (e.g., calculating ecological footprints, distinguishing pollution sources, analyzing free-response data sets).
  • Ability to adapt instruction using real-world examples, current environmental news, and AP-style practice to support students with varying science backgrounds seeking interdisciplinary understanding.
• Effective Teaching Methods:
  • Ability to identify common student struggles and explain material using multiple approaches.
  • Proven capacity to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
