Internship Opportunity: Analytical Instrumentation

Anton Paar USA is offering an 8-week, 40-hour per week paid internship program (minimum 300 hours) for ambitious STEM students. This unique opportunity will provide real-world experience with analytical instrumentation, mentorship from industry experts, and a potential pathway to future employment.

Program Details:

  • Duration: 8 weeks, 40 hours/week (minimum 300 hours)
  • Start Dates: No earlier than May 15th, 2025, and no later than June 15th, 2024.
  • Location: Ashland, VA
  • Compensation: $18 per hour
  • Mentorship: Interns will be mentored by Anton Paar’s Engineers and Scientists.
  • Future Opportunities: Interns who receive a favorable evaluation may be offered part-time work during their studies, potentially leading to a full-time position upon graduation.

What You Will Do (Job Description):

  • Learn important work-related skills related to application support and/or technical sales.
  • Develop complex and unique skills pertaining to Anton Paar’s diverse product lines.
  • Conduct sample testing and effectively communicate data with your mentor.
  • Demonstrate eagerness to take on various roles and challenges within the organization.

Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications):

  • A current College or University student majoring in STEM fields, with a preference for Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • A forward-thinking individual seeking a unique opportunity to gain real-world instrumentation experience.
  • A young professional who consistently displays a poised and respectful attitude in the workplace.
  • Academic Standing: Completion of your sophomore year of college, including 2 semesters of Calculus and 2 semesters of science courses.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to the Ashland Office is required.
  • Experience (Preferred): Hands-on experience with analytical lab instrumentation.
