Multifamily Real Estate Analyst | Monarch Investment and Management Group
The Tone:
This is a full-time Analyst position at Monarch Investment and Management Group, located in Franktown, CO. The company is one of the nation’s largest privately owned apartment companies, owning and managing over 80,000 apartment homes across 25 states. This role is vital for evaluating property performance, identifying operational improvements, and supporting acquisition activity across a diverse portfolio, directly influencing business decisions and contributing to the success of apartment communities nationwide.

• Team: Corporate Asset Management team, working alongside experienced Asset Managers and executive leadership.
• Mission: Evaluate property performance, identify operational improvement opportunities, support acquisition activity, and help drive the success of apartment communities across the country.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Yardi
What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Analysis: Analyze multifamily property operations for inefficiencies and report findings.
• Data Analysis: Provide financial, operating, and rental market data analysis to support operations and identify opportunities to maximize value.
• Acquisition Support: Assist in the due diligence of underwriting models for potential new acquisitions.
• Capital Projects: Report on and monitor capital projects, potentially overseeing them directly.
• Process Development: Develop procedures for internal auditing of adherence across the portfolio.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, real estate, asset management, investments, or a similar analytical role.
• Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets; experience building and interpreting financial models; strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills; excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Bonus: Multifamily housing experience strongly preferred; experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
