Expert Institute is a leading expert consulting and insights platform that helps law firms nationwide win cases and improve client outcomes. The company provides litigators with expert connections, research, physician consultations, and due diligence through its SaaS platform, Expert iQ. This role is critical for the team that manages all billing and invoicing between expert consultants and attorney clients, ensuring revenue generation through managed billing engagements.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Review incoming expert invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all required itemization.
• Data Management: Enter invoice data into Salesforce and generate corresponding client-facing invoices.
• Payment Facilitation: Distribute invoices to attorney clients and manage follow-ups to ensure timely payment.
• Client & Expert Relations: Maintain clear, professional communication with both experts and attorneys via email and phone.
• Billing Resolution: Handle clarifications and follow-ups related to invoice submissions, payments, and supporting documentation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level.
• Experience: Beneficial to have a corporate internship, relevant experience, or prior experience in customer service, research, or consulting.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, including professional phone etiquette; critical thinking and keen attention to detail; a client-focused mindset; proficiency with cloud-based solutions like Salesforce; self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously and multitask.
• Bonus: A bachelor’s degree, particularly in a major with research as a foundation.
