Class of 2027 Investment Analyst | General Atlantic

The Tone:
This is an early career role at General Atlantic, a leading global investor with over four and a half decades of experience providing capital and strategic support to companies. General Atlantic is a dedicated partner to visionary founders and investors, guiding them with patient capital, operational expertise, and a global platform across various investment strategies. As an Analyst, you will serve as the foundation of the deal teams, gaining exposure to the full investment lifecycle and significantly contributing to new investment opportunities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Craft investment theses and build industry expertise through dedicated research, engaging with industry experts, and performing market mapping.
• Support: Provide critical investment sourcing, contribute to quantitative and qualitative analyses, and interact directly with entrepreneurs and management teams.
• Engage: Gain comprehensive exposure to multiple diligence workstreams, including financial analysis, customer research, valuation, and competitive benchmarking.
• Research: Perform proprietary research and analysis by conducting calls and meetings with key industry participants, customers, and advisors to inform investment perspectives.
• Contribute: Assist in preparing investment memoranda and other essential materials for review by the Investment Committee.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position for students currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate institution in the US, graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Experience: Proven academic and professional excellence, strong understanding of financial modeling, sound analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret complex financial models independently, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and business fundamentals.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong written and verbal communication skills, a creative and solutions-oriented thinking approach, and strong business judgment and professional maturity.
