This Staff role plays a key part in the growing Government & Public Sector Assurance practice, delivering quality assurance services to Federal, State, Local, and Education clients. It is critical for understanding business processes and data flow to ensure exceptional client experiences and support mission outcomes.

• Pay: $64,200–$120,300 yearly

• Mission: Deliver quality assurance services to government and public sector clients by understanding business processes and data flow.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Identify potential audit issues by analyzing financial statements and communicate findings to the assurance team.
• Document the execution of specific audit procedures accurately, aligning with engagement objectives and planned audit approaches.
• Propose improvements to existing audit procedures and enhance techniques for better efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by being responsive to requests and demonstrating professionalism.
• Collaborate with assurance team members, contributing ideas and responding to diverse perspectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Approximately 1 year of related work experience, coupled with sufficient coursework to achieve CPA certification upon passing the examination. Must be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance or higher.
• Skills: Excellent project management skills, advanced written and verbal communication skills, and dedication to teamwork and leadership.
• Bonus: CPA licensure in your work state and/or CGFM and/or CDFM certifications.
