Analyst, Financial Operations | Reserv

The Tone:

The Analyst, Financial Operations plays a key part in assisting with monthly reconciliations and supporting critical financial tasks for customers. This work directly contributes to Reserv’s ability to provide seamless, technology-driven claims management and maintain high industry standards.

• Mission: This person will assist with monthly financial reconciliations and support critical financial tasks for customers, improving service delivery and ensuring accurate claims management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile Payments: Assist in reconciling US, UK, and other European loss fund payments with claims data, financial records, and bank statements.
• Resolve Discrepancies: Collaborate on investigating and resolving financial discrepancies with internal teams and customers.
• Document Processes: Work with the financial operations team to document processes and procedures.
• Identify Opportunities: Actively identify opportunities for optimization to support continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or analytical role, preferably with a TPA or an insurance company.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in data tools such as Excel or similar platforms; excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively; strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex insights clearly.
• Bonus: Experience with visualization tools; proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, with the ability to write queries; familiarity with claims management processes.
