What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support case strategy and economic arguments.
• Economic Analysis: Conduct economic, statistical, and econometric analysis using relevant analytical tools and software.
• Research: Review economic literature, case law, and market evidence to support client engagements.
• Deliverables Preparation: Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and expert deliverables for clients, competition authorities, and courts.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in client meetings, conference calls, and internal discussions with multidisciplinary teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience using statistical or econometric software such as Stata, R, Python, or similar tools.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, professional proficiency in English and German.
• Bonus: A PhD is advantageous for Senior Analyst candidates.
