Experienced Analyst – Asia Cross-Border Advisory | Evercore
The Tone:
This is a full-time Analyst role at Evercore, located in New York, NY. The firm achieves superior results for its clients by providing trusted, independent, and innovative advice on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder advisory, restructurings, and capital structure. This role is crucial as Analysts play a leading part within the Asia Cross-Border Advisory Group, contributing directly to integrated solutions for complex international transactions and gaining exposure to blue-chip clients, all while being part of a rapidly expanding and highly respected firm.

• Mission: Advises corporate and private equity clients on strategic cross-border transactions involving Asia, particularly China, South Korea, and India, delivering integrated solutions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Prepare thoroughly for and actively participate in client meetings, developing close contact with senior client contacts and firm partners.
• Financial Strategy: Conduct comprehensive financial modeling to support strategic advice and resolve intricate accounting issues within various transaction structures.
• Market Intelligence: Execute detailed industry analysis and perform due diligence to inform acquisition advisory, capital raising, and divestiture assignments.
• Transaction Support: Contribute to a broad range of strategic assignments including acquisition advisory, capital raising, recapitalizations, divestitures, and the formation of partnerships and joint ventures.
• Growth Initiatives: Support efforts in new client development, identifying opportunities and contributing to the expansion of the firm’s advisory reach.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of a top tier university with an excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting.
• Experience: 1-2 years of Investment Banking experience, or Class of 2026 graduates with prior investment banking internship.
• Skills: Superior analytical skills; exceptional communication skills, both written and oral; ability to articulate ideas clearly; fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
