Xiaohongshu Community Content Operations (Tech Life Direction) | Xiaohongshu

The Tone:
This is a full-time fresh graduate role at Xiaohongshu, located in China. Xiaohongshu operates as a prominent lifestyle social media and e-commerce platform, serving as a vibrant community for content sharing and discovery. This role is crucial for cultivating and expanding the platform’s community around emerging technology, AI, and smart living, ensuring Xiaohongshu remains an engaging and relevant space for tech-savvy users.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person China

• Mission: Drive community content strategy and execution for the tech life domain, fostering engaging discussions and active user participation around AI and smart technology trends on the Xiaohongshu platform.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Trend Monitoring: Monitor trends in AI, large language models, smart hardware, and general tech life, actively experiencing and using various AI products to form informed judgments on new offerings and industry shifts.
• Content Strategy & Planning: Identify user demands, content trends, and discussion hotspots within the tech life sector, then independently plan content topics and engagement strategies. Define clear activity objectives, approaches, required resources, and execution paths, coordinating project progress and leveraging both online and offline resources.
• Resource Management & Promotion: Develop resource recommendations or scheduling plans that align with promotion goals, utilizing internal company resources and usage guidelines. Follow up on content deployment processes and material collection to ensure timely and correct online display, and monitor the communication effectiveness throughout active periods.
• Creator Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with content creators based on specific business needs. Manage all necessary communication, invitations, and progress tracking for projects, ensuring that content meets project requirements and aligns with Xiaohongshu’s community tone.
• Project Execution & Analysis: Deeply understand business requirements, maintain excellent communication and collaboration with the team to drive project execution, meticulous data collection, and thorough post-mortem analysis for continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for 2025 graduates or later, holding a Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline.
• Experience: Internship experience in AI product operations, content operations, or brand communication is preferred. Must be familiar with Xiaohongshu’s content ecosystem, possessing a good understanding of the platform’s tone, user preferences, and content expression.
• Skills: Strong interest in AI with regular usage habits and a willingness to continuously follow industry changes and personally experience new products. Possesses creative ability, with foundational skills in media planning, scheduling content deployment, and event execution. Demonstrates excellent communication and resilience, capable of independent thinking and optimizing strategies based on operational data and user feedback.
• Bonus: Being a deep user of Xiaohongshu is a plus. Candidates with a major in journalism, communication, advertising, or Chinese are preferred. Experience in image processing and video editing is also a plus.
