### What Drives Success: The Lennox Internship Program

As an Intern at Lennox, you will become an integral part of a team of innovative and knowledgeable industry professionals. This program is designed to immerse you in impactful, developmental projects specifically tailored to your area of focus. This is approximately a 10 to 12-week program that will provide you with real work experiences crucial for your career growth, alongside valuable exposure to business leaders throughout the company.

### What Will You Do? (Key Responsibilities)

As an AI/ML Intern, you will play a crucial role in advancing Lennox’s digital transformation by:

• Collaborating on building agentic AI systems that automate diagnostics and decision-making in complex engineering workflows.
• Developing and validating machine learning models for critical business functions such as forecasting, quoting, and operational optimization.
• Conducting in-depth data analysis and feature engineering utilizing a wide array of structured and unstructured enterprise datasets.
• Contributing to LLM-based agent development, including sophisticated prompt design, seamless tool integration, and robust fallback orchestration.
• Assisting in the deployment of models and agents using modern cloud technologies and secure enterprise pipelines.
• Participating actively in AI governance initiatives, ensuring all models comply with data policies, ethical guidelines, and continuously learn from feedback loops.
• Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver innovative and impactful AI solutions.

### What Do You Need to Succeed? (Required Qualifications)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with:

• Current enrollment in a Master’s degree program in a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering with a focus on AI/ML).
• A strong foundation in machine learning and data science, including expertise in regression, classification, and time series modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and essential data tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and SQL.
• A solid understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), coupled with a keen interest in prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and tool integration.
• The ability to analyze complex structured and unstructured data, perform effective feature engineering, and build interpretable machine learning models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and present technical insights.
• Proficiency in general office applications, including Microsoft Office.

### What We Offer: Compensation & Culture

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $22.50-$25.00/hour. This rate is based on the intern’s current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
