The Tone:
This is an internship at SiteOne Landscape Supply, located in Roswell, GA. SiteOne is the largest national distributor of landscaping products across the United States and Canada, serving green industry professionals who design, build, and maintain outdoor spaces from lawns and gardens to golf courses. The company provides a one-stop shop with extensive inventory covering irrigation, lighting, turf and landscape maintenance, hardscapes, nursery, and pest control supplies. This role offers a significant learning opportunity for a student interested in AI, data, or software development careers by providing hands-on exposure to real business applications of AI.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: 40 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid, Roswell, GA
• Pay: $15–$22 hourly
• Mission: This intern will assist in building, testing, and improving AI-powered tools and workflows, supporting data analysis, and learning how AI solutions are applied in real business scenarios.

What You’ll Actually Do
• AI Tool Building: Assist in building small AI-powered tools for various business needs.
• Content Workflow Improvement: Test and improve AI-generated content workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Prompt Structuring and Evaluation: Help structure prompts and evaluate the outputs of AI models.
• Data Support: Support data analysis and experimentation initiatives within the team.
• AI Solution Learning: Learn how AI solutions are effectively applied in real business scenarios.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student who is curious and analytical with a strong interest in AI and problem-solving.
• Experience: Coursework or hands-on experience with Python; must be able to commit to the internship from August/September to November.
• Skills: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability, comfort working with structured data (CSV, Excel, JSON), good communication skills and willingness to ask questions.
• Bonus: Exposure to APIs or simple web apps (Flask, Streamlit, etc.), familiarity with ChatGPT, OpenAI, or other AI tools, basic understanding of SQL, experience with Git or collaborative coding.
