Job Description
Overview and Job Purpose:
The ICE Internship Program provides a dynamic opportunity for students to gain hands-on, impactful experience on projects critical to the company’s business. Interns will engage in practical career and professional development, build meaningful connections, strengthen their interpersonal skills, and make significant contributions. Beyond their daily responsibilities, interns will participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and deepen their understanding of the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries.
Specific Role: AI Engineering Intern
The AI Engineering Intern will be responsible for modernizing data pipelines, exploring AI-driven efficiencies across the organization, and supporting the deployment of machine learning models into production environments.
Responsibilities:
• Develop Generative AI Solutions: Create generative AI-powered chatbot solutions, specifically leveraging the Snowflake Cortex platform.
• Automate Data Processes: Assist in automating data processing and reporting tasks through the use of generative AI tools and custom-developed solutions.
• Support Model Quality: Provide support for model evaluation, fine-tuning processes, and quality assurance to enhance the overall effectiveness of AI/ML models.
• Contribute to Projects: Perform additional duties and contribute to various projects as assigned by the team or manager.
Knowledge and Experience (Required Qualifications):
• Academic Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university.
• Academic Standing: Must be at least advancing to their junior year of study by the internship start date.
• Technical Skills: Possess experience or coursework with key technologies including Python, SQL, Snowflake, LangChain, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Generative AI Familiarity: Demonstrate familiarity with various Generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
• Communication Skills: Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills, essential for collaboration and presentation.
Internship Program Schedule:
To accommodate different academic calendars, the ICE Internship Program offers two distinct schedule options for candidates to choose from during the application process:
• Option 1: May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026
• Option 2: June 8, 2026 – August 21, 2026
Important Note: Interns are required to be available to work full-time (five days a week) at ICE’s Atlanta office for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules. Partial participation or alternative dates cannot be accommodated.
