The Opportunity as an AI Engineering/Data Scientist Intern:

As an AI Engineering/Data Scientist Intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of data science and machine learning engineering. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, observing professional work environments, and conducting research to contribute to the team’s success. Key Responsibilities:

As an AI Engineering/Data Scientist Intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting data science and machine learning projects by assisting in the development and implementation of models.
  • Participating in the design and maintenance of data pipelines to facilitate seamless data flow and integration.
  • Engaging in complex data analysis to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns using quantitative methods.
  • Assisting in the application of artificial intelligence and natural language processing techniques to enhance data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborating with team members to apply programming languages in the development of machine learning algorithms.
  • Contributing to the creation of predictive models to forecast outcomes and inform decision-making processes.
  • Assisting in the evaluation and improvement of data quality to validate reliability and accuracy in analytics.
  • Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to data engineering and analytics practices.
  • Supporting project management activities by coordinating tasks and tracking progress to meet project goals.

What You Must Have:

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
  • Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student’s final year of school.
  • Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student’s final year of school.

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Preference for at least one of the following field(s) of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering.
  • Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA.
  • Experience leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Ability to apply machine learning techniques to solve complex data problems.
  • Experience utilizing natural language processing for data-driven insights.
  • Engagement in predictive modeling to forecast trends and outcomes.
  • Support of data engineering projects with a focus on data quality and integrity.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $29.25 – $48.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
