Aerodynamics Engineering Internship
Program: 12-week paid internship during the summer of 2025.
Location: In-person, hybrid internship based in Palo Alto, CA.
Start Dates: May or June 2025.
Team: Aircraft Development team.
Impact: This internship offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the future of drone delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Develop aerodynamic models for current and future aircraft analysis and design.
• Utilize simplified and high-fidelity simulation tools to predict complex flight regimes.
• Verify predictions with real-world flight test data.
• Collaborate with Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) and simulation engineers to integrate models into the current code base infrastructure.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Graduation between December 2025 and August 2026.
• Experience with Matlab, Python, C++, or similar programming language.
• Strong examples of collaborative, hands-on engineering experience (e.g., prior work experience, university programs, internships, or student organizations).
• Familiarity with aircraft design and aerodynamics.
• Familiarity with propulsion and aerodynamic modeling.
• Passion for aviation, drones, or related technologies.
