This is a full-time summer internship at GHJ, located in Los Angeles, CA. What You’ll Actually Do
• Training: Actively participate in training exercises and discussions to develop core competencies.
• Research: Perform research and analysis for various Advisory Projects to support strategic goals.
• Deliverables: Assist with the creation of detailed deliverables for Advisory Clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Accounting Records: Actively work within client accounting records, including drafting journal entries, entering transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting in month-end close processes and review alongside team members.
• Problem Solving: Identify problems, gather insight, and offer potential solutions on client engagements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting or a related field, graduating between May 2028 – August 2028, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required; demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in accounting and active personal growth.
• Skills: Creative problem solving and research skills; strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Bonus: Openness to travel to client locations with colleagues, which may include occasional overnight stays.
