The Tone:
This is a full-time, paid, immersive one-year residency program at SCA Health, located in the United States, requiring relocation and travel. SCA Health is redefining specialty care by developing more accessible, patient-centered practice solutions across a network of ambulatory surgical centers, physician practice clinics, labs, and surgical hospitals. This role is crucial for learning about the ambulatory surgery center and specialty care environments, contributing to high-quality patient care at a lower cost, and directly impacting patients, physicians, and communities. As part of a team focused on continuous improvement, your work will help shape the future of healthcare.

The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead projects and engage in leadership initiatives across departmental operations.
• Participate in up to three 2-3 month enterprise rotations over the course of the residency program.
• Contribute to and lead within a chosen residency track based on strengths and interests.
• Oversee daily operations at an ambulatory surgery center facility or local office.
• Collaborate with executive leaders and preceptors for professional support and development.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of a CAHME or AACSB accredited MHA or MHSA program with a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare business management, operations, clinical practice management, and healthcare finances.
• Experience: Entry-Level. Must be willing to relocate and travel up to 25%.
• Skills: Possess strong organizational and time management capabilities, demonstrate strong communication skills, and exhibit the ability to balance multiple tasks effectively.
