Administrative Manager | Mount Sinai Health System

The TL;DR

• Location: In-person – New York, New York
• Pay: $78884–$118000 annually
• Mission: Plans, directs, and oversees administrative, human resources, and clinical operations to ensure departmental efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Oversight: Manage and coordinate the activities of clerical, administrative, and call center personnel within the department.
• Process Improvement: Analyze internal processes, then plan and implement procedural and policy changes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Financial Management: Assist in planning budgetary needs by analyzing short and long-term program plans, and collaborate with leadership to monitor the department’s financial status.
• Human Resources Administration: Interpret and administer personnel policies, including hiring, performance appraisals, training, and staff disciplinary activity, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Facilitate the creation of training programs, conduct staff training, and implement quality assurance programs to meet standards and regulations of federal, state, city, and accrediting agencies like JCAHO.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years experience in an administrative or management capacity.
• Skills: Operational Management, Human Resources Administration, Budgetary Planning, Regulatory Compliance, Process Improvement.
• Bonus: Masters preferred.
