Accounts Receivable Analyst | Insight Global

The Tone:
This is a contract role at Insight Global’s top client. This position is critical in ensuring the precision and integrity of financial records related to attorney receivables. The successful analyst will perform detailed accounting, reconciliation, and analytical duties to accurately maintain attorney receivable accounts, directly supporting the client’s financial health and operational efficiency within a key financial function.

• Mission: Ensure attorney receivable accounts are accurately maintained through detailed accounting, reconciliation, and analytical duties.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Reconciliation: Perform complex analytical work to reconcile supplier and attorney receivable accounts, utilizing Excel to identify and resolve outstanding balance variances.
• Payment Processing: Consistently monitor payment statuses, investigate any discrepancies, and accurately post ACH, wire payments, and live checks into Sage 100, including completing daily bank deposits.
• Transaction Management: Accurately enter all Accounts Receivable transactions into Sage 100, providing crucial backup for posting pay file remittances and executing cost and fee uploads.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with attorneys and various internal stakeholders to proactively resolve account issues and ensure timely settlements.
• Team Contribution: Act as a strong and supportive member of the A/R team, readily completing additional accounting and reconciliation tasks as assigned to support overall department goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree, establishing a foundation for this early-career financial role.
• Experience: Possess 1–2 years of experience in financial, accounting, or Accounts Receivable functions, with a demonstrated history of proven reconciliation work.
• Skills: Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, alongside strong intermediate Excel skills, validated by a required Excel test.
• Bonus: A/R reconciliation experience is preferred, and a degree concentrated in Finance or Accounting is also preferred.
