The Tone:

• Mission: This person ensures accurate financial reporting by managing daily sales reconciliation, customer payments, and accounts receivable processes for a growing supermarket chain.
• Tech Stack: Excel (pivot and formulas), SAP, other ERP accounting systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Reconciliation: Reconcile daily store retail sales reports, verify postings, and communicate any related issues to ensure data accuracy.
• Payment Processing: Reconcile customer statements, match payments to corresponding invoices, and actively resolve any identified discrepancies.
• Dispute Management: Arrange necessary documents and respond effectively to all credit card dispute cases to protect company assets.
• Collections Support: Assist the supervisor by sending reminders for past-due accounts, managing collections, and contacting customers to request payments.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly period-end closing activities, contributing to timely and accurate financial statements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position with a preferred Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably gained within the retail, manufacturing, or logistics industry.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting at all organizational levels; proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and formulas; and required bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin.
• Bonus: Experience with SAP or other ERP accounting systems is a plus, along with a strong motivation for automation and process improvement.
