This role is crucial for maintaining accurate Accounts Payable operations and ensuring smooth financial processes within the company.

• Mission: To properly maintain Accounts Payable and support the Accounting department’s daily operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Outlook/Gmail, accounting or AP automation software (e.g., NAV, Microsoft BC, Sage)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Keying: Accurately enter a high volume of vendor invoices, credit notes, and expense bills into the accounting system with precision and speed.
• Payment Enrollment: Proactively reach out to vendors via phone and email to confirm, verify, and facilitate their enrollment in preferred electronic payment methods such as ACH/EFT.
• Email Management: Assist in monitoring the primary Accounts Payable inbox, triaging vendor inquiries, and efficiently routing internal payment approvals to appropriate personnel.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with external vendors and internal departments to identify and resolve billing errors, address missing data, and expedite delayed payments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with foundational accounting and administrative understanding.
• Experience: Demonstrated high-accuracy data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook/Gmail, along with experience using accounting or AP automation software.
• Skills: High-accuracy alphanumeric keying, strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), excellent written and verbal communication, and meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Bonus: Knowledge of 1099 filing requirements is desired.
