This is a paid full-time hybrid internship at Westinghouse Electric Company, located in Cranberry Township, PA, for the summer (May – August 2027). Westinghouse, a global company with over 11,000 employees, is a leading provider of safe, clean, and efficient energy solutions in the nuclear energy industry. As an Accounts Payable intern, you will join a global team vital to the company’s financial operations by ensuring smooth vendor transactions. This role is fundamental to supporting the accounts payable process and collaborating with various departments to maintain accurate financial records for Westinghouse’s mission.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accruals: Learn the process for month-end accruals.
• Inquiries: Review various accounts payable inquiries.
• Validation: Match and validate invoices against purchase orders.
• Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of invoices.
• Data Capture: Capture data from invoices accurately.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance.
• Experience: Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Skills: Foundational knowledge in accounting or finance principles.
