This is a paid full-time hybrid internship at Westinghouse Electric Co, located in Cranberry Township, US. As an Accounts Payable intern, you will contribute to an innovative team supporting the company’s mission by ensuring efficient purchasing processes with vendors. This role is essential for completing vendor purchases through the accounts payable process and involves collaboration with various departments like supply chain, vendor maintenance, and business reporting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learning: Learn the process for month end accruals.
• Review: Review inquiries related to accounts payable.
• Validation: Match and validate invoices against purchase orders.
• Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of invoices.
• Capture: Capture data from invoices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance. Entry-level.
• Experience: Must have completed sophomore year of college.
• Skills: Accrual accounting principles, data validation, invoice reconciliation, financial record keeping.
