About The Role
As Knighted continues to expand its reach, we are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to help advance our strategic business development goals. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this position will be responsible for managing the accounts payable functions for multiple entertainment entities within our portfolio. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reconciling accounts, managing relationships with vendors, and successfully developing and implementing accounts payable processes.
This position requires an approximate 20 hours per week commitment, working in-person at our Dallas location.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process invoices, ensuring appropriate coding, documentation, and authorization prior to payment.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies or variances with vendors or internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions, including maintaining vendor files, payment history, and supporting documentation for tax and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate accruals, month-end closing, and financial reporting related to accounts payable.
Experience & Skills
- 1+ years in accounts payable or related accounting role.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Excel (including knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookups, and other key analytical techniques).
Qualities & Preferences
- Experience working with multiple legal entities and multiple locations preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prioritizes tasks and works well under pressure to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Positive, highly adaptable, self-starter, and collaborative team player.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Ability to quickly learn and execute processes in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Compensation
This position will pay between $22 – $28/hr.
