This role is crucial for managing accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, and proper recording of payments for goods and services according to established policies and procedures.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoicing: Organize and process customer invoices accurately, timely, and in accordance with the organization’s accounts receivable policies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain, organize, and file all payment records and supporting documentation.
• Account Management: Post and reconcile amounts collected to customer accounts within the ERP system.
• Collections & Disputes: Communicate and follow up with customers to resolve outstanding balances and billing disputes.
• Month-End Close: Perform account reconciliation as part of the month-end close process.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate degree in accounting or equivalent number of years of experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience in accounts receivable, ideally within a multi-unit or manufacturing accounting environment.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, data analysis, excellent communication, and proficiency with MS Office.
• Bonus: Experience in a Shared Service or Central Accounting office, manufacturing accounting experience, combined Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
