Accounting Analyst | Sodexo

What You’ll Actually Do
• Policy Analysis: Analyze financial policies and recommend process improvements to strengthen internal financial controls and operational efficiency.
• Project Leadership: Take the lead on departmental projects focused on boosting overall efficiency, enhancing performance, and achieving strategic objectives.
• Goal Tracking: Play a key role in actively tracking and driving progress toward established departmental goals and key performance indicators.
• Reconciliation Support: Support and guide account reconciliation efforts, ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining compliance, and resolving discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Provide insightful financial and ad hoc reports to support leadership in their decision-making processes and high-impact business initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, coupled with a solid understanding of accounting principles, fiscal controls, and financial reporting practices essential for protecting organizational assets.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related experience, including a skillset to support and enhance financial systems through service requests, testing, and implementation, and experience collaborating on cross-functional initiatives that drive continuous improvement.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop actionable insights from performance metrics and reconciliation data, alongside the capability to mentor or guide team members within a collaborative work environment.
