What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Foundations: Maintain a functional understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) accounting.
• Financial Close Support: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform bank statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Discrepancy Management: Investigate and escalate general ledger, AP, and AR discrepancies to support accurate financial reporting.
• Audit & Reporting: Provide transaction documentation to support internal and external audit activities and prepare ad hoc financial reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an early-career role focusing on core accounting principles.
• Experience: Hands-on experience working with general ledgers.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: One to three years of related accounting experience preferred.
