The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at a Top #10 National CPA firm, located in Los Angeles, CA (Westwood Area), requiring 3 days in office and 2 days remote work per week. Our client is performing a select search for an Accounting Manager to join its team. This role is crucial for managing diverse client needs and expanding skills in bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, and client service within a prominent national firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Prepare and assist with corporate tax returns and related tax filings.
• Client Accounting: Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple clients.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts for client records.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and analyze general ledger activity for accuracy.
• Financial Data Management: Collect, review, and enter client financial data while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level accounting professional with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting processes. A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or tax functions. Proficiency with accounting technologies and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
• Skills: Bookkeeping principles, accounting processes, general ledger analysis, corporate tax preparation, account reconciliation, data entry, client correspondence, Microsoft Excel.
• Bonus: An Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; experience in public accounting, client accounting services (CAS), or outsourced accounting environments.
