Accounting Leadership Development Program Internship
This 10-to-12 week summer internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting disciplines while working alongside experienced professionals.
Here’s what you’ll do:
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile ledger accounts
• Analyze monthly financial reporting and communicate results to managers and senior leaders
• Manage the legal entity monthly reporting process
• Collaborate with other teams (Tax, Treasury, Finance)
• Implement more effective and efficient monthly processes
• Work on complex problems requiring in-depth analysis
• Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions
• Implement new applicable ASC regulatory changes
You’ll also have the chance to:
• Learn from top financial decision makers and executives
• Gain insight into leadership practices
• Develop valuable skills and build a strong network
Key responsibilities:
• Utilize accounting and analytical knowledge to optimize processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the implementation of new regulations.
• Work through complex problems requiring in-depth analysis.
• Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions.
Technologies you’ll utilize:
• Oracle for ledger activity recording
• HFM for consolidated reporting
Ideal Candidate
AT&T is seeking a self-starter with:
• Integrity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to interface with all levels of leadership
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
Qualifications:
• Earned or will have earned a Traditional or Accelerated Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance by June 2026
• CPA candidate (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Teams, and Outlook
• Willingness to relocate to Dallas, TX
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $52,000 yearly
