Job Description:
This is a full-time Accounting Internship with Generac Power Systems, located in Waukesha, WI. The internship is designed to develop business and technical skills within the accounting department. It is a summer internship with the possibility of an extension to part-time during the school year. The intern will be introduced to Shared Services accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Cash application, and Credit Memos. The intern will also support various “continuous improvement” projects.
Major Responsibilities include:
• Assisting the Shared Services team with:
• Brainware processing – resolving AP automation software failures
• AR Cash application/posting offsets to customer accounts
• Credit memo processing in SAP
• Past due invoice resolution
• Excel reporting as needed
• Mail distribution
• Completing other projects as assigned
