Fall Intern, Accounting – Goldenvoice Venues | AEG

The Tone:
This is an internship at AEG, located in Los Angeles, CA. AEG has played a pivotal role in transforming sports and live entertainment for over two decades, hosting more than 160 million guests annually across 300+ venues. The company creates memorable moments through its leading sports franchises, marquee music brands, and global sponsorship activations. This role offers college students real-world experience, supporting the accounting team for Goldenvoice Venues and providing insight into the operations behind the scenes of the live entertainment business.

The TL;DR

• Type: Part-time (minimum 18 hours/week)

• Pay: $19–$21 hourly
• Team: Accounting team for Goldenvoice Venues
• Mission: Support the accounting team with reconciliations and analysis to gain insight into the live entertainment business.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel), Smartsheet, Hubble

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry: Enter artist settlement documents and assist with account reconciliations for various financial records.
• Reporting: Process Accounts Payable submissions and generate necessary financial reports.
• Event Support: Support special event settlements and perform required month-end data entry tasks.
• Reconciliation: Assist with ticket reconciliations to ensure accuracy for events.
• Administration: Perform administrative tasks to ensure smooth team operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Data Analysis. This is an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: Experience with Microsoft Excel; Smartsheet experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, written communication, time management, and ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Bonus: Passion for live entertainment and a desire to learn more about the entertainment industry.
