This role is built for accounting students on the CPA track who want real, varied exposure to how a CPA firm actually works, up close. The internship aims to provide a clear understanding of the profession and identify strong candidates for potential future employment within the firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Participate in a guided rotation across the firm’s accounting, tax, payroll, and operational functions to understand how they integrate.
• Perform: Execute entry-level client work under the mentorship of a working accountant, comparable to tasks performed by a first-year associate.
• Follow: Track the entire lifecycle of client engagements, from initial accounting work through the review process to the final deliverable.
• Support: Assist with the operational tasks necessary to keep client engagements moving forward smoothly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled accounting major, pursuing a CPA track.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required; demonstrated genuine interest in public accounting as a career. Rising seniors preferred (entering final year in fall 2027); rising juniors welcome to apply.
• Skills: Comfortable with Excel, including formulas, sorting, and basic spreadsheets; solid written and verbal communication; organized, accurate, and careful with details; able to manage multiple tasks and proactively ask questions for clarity.
• Bonus: Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks.
