The firm operates 21 offices and has over 900 associates nationwide, specializing in audit, accounting, data management, and consulting services primarily for state Medicaid agencies and the federal Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This role is crucial for an intern to gain practical experience within a welcoming and collaborative culture, contributing to supporting state and federal government health and human service clients who focus on those in need. The TL;DR

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or a closely related field. This position is designed as an entry-level internship for students seeking professional experience.
• Experience: While no specific years of prior professional experience are strictly required, candidates demonstrating active participation in student organizations and previous work experience are considered beneficial.
• Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex tasks. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction. Demonstrate excellent organizational abilities with a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to effectively multi-task with efficient planning, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize assignments. Ability to collaborate productively within a team environment.
• Bonus: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 is preferred. Proficient use of applicable software programs, including the full Microsoft Office suite, is also highly valued.
