Summer 2027 Accounting Internship – Burlington, MA | Enterprise

The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at Enterprise, located in Burlington, MA. Enterprise is an industry leader that provides real-world business, accounting, and financial training. This Accounting Intern position is designed to introduce individuals to the Business Management Training program, which prepares them to become a Business Manager of their own financial operation. The role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management and supporting the marketing and operational pieces of the business.

• Mission: To gain exposure to basic accounting procedures and principles, ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement preparation and analysis.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Collaborate: Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Support: Assist accounting managers with various reports.
• Manage: Get involved with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, cash receipts, and petty cash.
• Organize: Assist in accounting schedules and filing, performing miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting or Finance with an expected graduation date between August 2027-May 2028.
• Experience: Must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to a 40-hour work week from late May/early June through August 2027, with a minimum commitment of 10 weeks.
• Skills: Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
