Position Summary:
This Accounting Intern role is an integral part of Cambridge Savings Bank’s Summer 2026 Internship Program. This program is designed as a talent pipeline, offering college students the essential foundation for a career in the banking industry and a thorough understanding of the everyday functions within a community bank. The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience and be responsible for a diverse range of functions, including those related to the general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, prepaid and fixed asset setup, financial reporting, and FDICIA control review and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, undergraduate degree program.
  • Consistently demonstrates strong teamwork, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work assignments and projects effectively.
  • Demonstrates academic aptitude, a strong work ethic, and involvement in college and/or community programs.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA

Salary Range: $17.00 – $19.00/hourly

Compensation Details:
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $17.00 – $19.00/hourly. Cambridge Savings Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
