What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Functions: Perform a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical and accounting tasks following standard procedures across areas such as general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial departments.
• Reporting and Queries: Develop queries as needed, then generate and distribute essential reports to relevant stakeholders and departments.
• Documentation Maintenance: Maintain appropriate records, files, and documentation to ensure accuracy, organization, and compliance within the financial area.
• Problem Resolution: Contact other internal departments and/or outside agencies to effectively research and resolve accounting or financial problems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A High School Diploma or GED is required, providing a foundational understanding relevant to general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial areas.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience. Essential experience includes practical use of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
• Skills: Strong computer skills, the ability to perform ten-key by touch, and good communication skills are necessary for effectively managing tasks and interacting with others.
