The Tone:
This is an onsite Accounting Clerk role located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Torentify (operating as OnPoint Medical Group) is a physician-led healthcare network focused on expanding access to high-quality, affordable healthcare. The company utilizes an integrated Circle of Care model to connect various healthcare elements for coordinated patient support. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations within a growing healthcare organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile Records: Perform daily bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Process Payments: Process and verify invoices and manage accounts payable activities, including payment processing and vendor communications.
• Track Costs: Assist with job costing by tracking expenses associated with healthcare projects and departments.
• Manage Ledgers: Prepare and post accurate journal entries and reconcile various accounts to support accurate financial statements.
• Support Closures: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and support accrual accounting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, along with a basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience: Proven experience with bank reconciliations and accounts payable processing, plus experience preparing journal entries.
• Skills: Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Previous experience in the healthcare industry, familiarity with healthcare financial regulations, knowledge of job costing methodologies, understanding of accrual accounting, and experience supporting financial close processes.
