• Mission: This person will manage essential daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance for a growing sports and entertainment entity.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Dynamics, ADP, Excel, AI tools, NetSuite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable: Process and code accounts payable invoices, manage vendor payments, and cultivate vendor relationships.
• Accounts Receivable: Oversee accounts receivable functions, including customer invoicing, collections follow-up, and cash application.
• Payroll & Benefits: Process recurring payroll through ADP and handle day-to-day 401(k) administration, employee support, and related HRIS tasks.
• Month-End Close: Support the accrual-based month-end close by preparing journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Financial Systems & Audit: Maintain accurate and organized financial records in Microsoft Dynamics and assist with annual audit requests and documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of core accounting principles.
• Experience: 1+ years of professional accounting experience, with hands-on Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Solid understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and month-end close fundamentals; strong Excel skills; comfort learning new tools, including AI; highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Bonus: Previous experience in sports, media, or agency settings; ADP or payroll processing experience.
