What You’ll Actually Do
• Daily Bookkeeping: Record financial transactions, update ledgers, and perform account reconciliations.
• Financial Document Processing: Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently using accounting software.
• Reporting Assistance: Assist with the preparation of financial statements and various reports.
• Record Management: Maintain organized and accurate financial records to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Operational Collaboration: Support month-end and year-end close processes and collaborate with the team on timely financial operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. This is an early career role focused on core accounting and finance support.
• Experience: Demonstrated skills in accounting and finance to support day-to-day transactional and reporting activities. Proficiency with accounting software for data entry, reconciliations, and routine financial processes. Solid bookkeeping skills, including accurate transaction recording and ledger maintenance, are required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborative teamwork. Proven ability to assist effectively with financial statement preparation and maintenance of supporting documentation.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
