Job Description:
Position Overview:
This internship program is designed to be tailored to the individual intern’s interests and experience level, offering a customized learning experience. Interns will work closely with the corporate accounting department and controllers, gaining exposure to various accounting and financial aspects of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Accounting Support: Assist the corporate accounting department with various accounting tasks as needed.
• Financial Analysis: Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis projects, identifying inefficient processes and developing solutions for operational efficiency.
• Budgeting: Participate in preparing the next fiscal budget, including forecasting, estimation, and template administration.
• Meeting Attendance: Attend meetings with controllers and divisional leaders or staff when available.
• Process Understanding: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the processes and procedures involved in supporting the accounting and financial needs of a company with a significant number of locations and complex operations.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Ag Economics, or a related field.
• GPA: Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Coursework: Completion of at least two accounting or finance-related courses is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau software packages is preferred.
• Personal Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
