The Accounting Analyst ensures precision in financial operations, which is critical for supporting the continuous advancement of new medicines.

• Mission: Own end-to-end finance support across key areas including invoice processing, journal entries, and reporting to ensure accurate financial results and SOX compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Validate and process invoices from customer service, confirming purchase order details such as pricing, shipment status, quantities, and releases, and resolving any exceptions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily sales updates for Development and Commercial workstreams, produce consolidated headcount reporting for actuals and forecasts, and develop A/R flash reporting with account-level commentary for leadership.
• General Ledger Management: Balance and process payroll entries, including related accruals, and reconcile balance sheet accounts without subledger support, investigating variances and resolving issues.
• ERP Utilization: Leverage JD Edwards 9.1 for accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting, using direct download capabilities to streamline data entry and extraction features for ad-hoc projects and analysis.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure SOX accuracy and compliance by performing activities in accordance with established procedures, coordinating necessary changes, and assisting with auditor reviews and testing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Career level: Entry-Level.
• Experience: Minimum one year of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with specific experience in accounts payable.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of end-to-end account flows.
• Bonus: Experience with JD Edwards ERP.
